About us

AvaraTaide ry is a nonprofit association founded by local artists in 2008, aiming for the stimulation of fine arts in Tampere.

The association supports artists by providing showroom for exhibitions and by offering different kinds of training courses. In doing so AvaraTaide ry seeks interaction of various arts and public interest. We try to associate artists and representatives at local-, national- and international level.

Currently around 46 artists from Tampere and Helsinki are active members of AvaraTaide ry. If you are an artist yourself and if you are interested in becoming a part, please do not hesitate to contact us. But also for individuals, organizations and foundations it is possible to become supporting members.

Since 2009 the Ronga Gallery belongs to AvaraTaide ry. Located in the center of Tampere it offers 73,50 m² for multiple uses.
